I’ve had some great guys who have come for their senior portrait sessions this year. Duncan is the first for the 2013 year. And it was quite the honor to have him here! I’d photographed his older brother Tyler last year, so when mom called to scheduled Duncan’s session I wasn’t too surprised … until I heard the back story. Duncan was only going to be in Montgomery for one day! They were flying him in from Texas on Wednesday, scheduling his senior session for Thursday, then heading for their new home in New Jersey on Friday! The sweet mom said she just knew there was no one else who could do his senior portrait after she saw Tyler’s last year. Awwww! (So, yes, that is just a bit of blatant bragging there.) I was very pleased with what we were able to capture for her… a bit of the studio formals, a bit of green in the background of some, and then just some good grungy teen stuff at the end. During June & July is a GREAT time to book sessions for your teen graduating in 2013. The senior year gets crazy busy with obligations and events and it gets very hard to find a good time to work in the session.
