I know I’ve mentioned it several times, but I enjoy few things more than photographing seniors in the downtown Montgomery area. There are so many little alleys and interesting spots to stop. Every session can be unique.

We did start this one in the studio. I love the natural light that comes through our studio windows and only used one studio light for a hair light to capture these images. Then we headed outside and mom was a great assistant with the reflector. I just lovelovelove what we captured for this adorable senior and her sweet mom! Her full — and I do mean full — gallery of images is uploading. Here are just a few sneak peeks for her to enjoy while waiting for it to be released.

Montgomery AL Engagement Sessions | Riverfront Walk

I love the Riverfront in Downtown Montgomery and was thrilled that this couple did, too. That’s where we met for their e-session. The sun was very cooperative staying tucked behind a curtain of clouds. It made for beautiful lighting wherever we went. I’m so thrilled to have this wedding on the calendar for 2013 — what a beautiful and fun couple!! Here are just a few of my favorites as a sneak peek while their full gallery of images is uploading! Montgomery AL Engagement Sessions: Riverwalk Stadium

When you find out that the couple’s first date was for a Biscuits game at the Riverwalk Stadium, where else are you going to go for your engagement session? It was a beautiful day and, while the groom was a somewhat reluctant participant, I loved what we captured for this amazing couple. There are many lovely spots in downtown Montgomery so we were able to combine urban and natural in one session. Please enjoy a few of my favorites from this recent e-session.

I applaud moms who realize the value of personalized senior sessions. What a great time to stop and enjoy the results of 17-18 years of nurturing and to dream of all that may come in the future. I love senior sessions – especially with someone as relaxed in front of the camera as Ariana. She and her mom were all about making the session uniquely her own. So that’s what we did and I love the results! We started the session outdoors in downtown Montgomery and ended in the studio.
